This wonderful preserve is made with many childhood memories and so much love. A vintage recipe of my great grandmother's. The only thing that makes it better is that I use organic Meyer lemons, R. F. Johnson's yellow San Marzanos and 12 varieties of heirloom tomatoes from my own garden and a lot less sugar. You will not taste tomato jam like this one anywhere! I can hardly keep up with the demand.
Great on top of warm brie and served alongside sliced tomatoes and fresh basil. Try it on a burger or ham and swiss sandwich.
